LUKE

So the naked thing only lasted a few precious hours. I had my hands on her ass, running up her thighs, over her stomach, and maybe a few places in between. But little Caleb woke up around three in the morning, making us both scramble to get dressed. Then Rebecca brought him in the bed with us. Which might have been a good thing—because it was impossible to keep my hands off her. And we both needed to get some sleep. By four, I finally dozed off. But then the next thing I knew it was morning.

I felt like a train had hit me when Caleb jumped on top of my stomach.

“Oh God, his appointment,” Rebecca said, hopping out of bed. “Oh my God. I need to shower.”

“Go,” I told her, not sure why she was so panicked. Caleb was wild, bouncing all over me while she took the world’s shortest shower. She came out in only her towel about one minute later, her hair dripping on the floor.

“I think I should go alone to this.” She was out of breath as she stared at me from the bedside.

“Why?”

“We don’t both need to go. It’s a long evaluation. And it’s just a lot of pressure on Caleb. The more people in the room—the more it’s going to distract him.”

I frowned, sitting up, setting Caleb on the floor. “Caleb, go find some toys in your room. I’ll be right there. Go find George Pig.”

He listened, running off, while I stayed behind. Rebecca knew best—I had to trust that.

“Fine. I’ll stay.”

“Thanks.”

Why was she thanking me? I wanted to be there. In fact, I might have been annoyed that she wanted me to stay home—up until the moment she moved closer with a look on her face that had the blood rushing straight for my cock. I sucked in a deep breath as she opened her towel wide, giving me a view of her deliciously naked body. She was so fine that I swear my mouth started to water. I wanted to run my tongue over her tits all the way down to the spot between her legs.

What on earth had made her lose some of her confidence? Because this was more like the Rebecca I remembered. Thoughts of being inside her, in that hotel shower, making love, seeped into my brain. She’d put her hands on the stark-white, tile wall, pushed her ass out in my direction, and spread her legs—fearlessly. Fuck, I thought I ruled the world in that moment. I felt something close to that same feeling again.

Caleb made a noise—the sound of his little feet on the wood floor, running down the hallway for my bedroom. Rebecca snapped the towel shut, covering her body just before he came charging in.

“You’re really in a cock-blocking mood, aren’t you little buddy?” I told him jokingly.

Rebecca playfully shoved at my shoulder. Then her face changed. “Oh crap, the appointment. You’re too distracting. I need to get dressed.”

“Okay.” I scooped Caleb up, carrying him over my shoulder.
